The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Scholarships and Graduate Studies Affairs Office:
- Planning the expansion of graduate studies programs at university;
- Managing and supervising the educational affairs of graduate studies programs of the university in coordination with Vice-chancellery for Education;
- Supervising the implementation of educational regulations and rules for graduate studies programs;
- Supervising and evaluating the good implementation of educational activities and programs for specialized courses
and submitting reports to the presiding board;
- Drawing up the agenda required for the Council of Graduate Studies of the university;
- Cooperating with the Vice-chancellery for Research and Training for implementing short-term specialized courses;
- Making a study and making a decision on the educational issues of students in terms of their academic and practical progress;
- Compiling the general principles of university programs and supervising the implementation of the above-mentioned principles after they are approved;
- Supervising the educational programs of the university and making suggestions for any change or development in programs;
- Supervising public military service affairs of students and issuing study certificates for students;
- Supervising the issuance of university degrees, transcripts and academic records and certificates;
- Supervising the enrollment and determining course credits for the students in different majors of graduate programs at the university;
- Compiling the statistics and information of different majors to be presented to the competent authorities;
- Supervising the transfer affairs of students according to rules;
- Establishing relations with other universities and institutions of higher education both in the country
and abroad for the exchange of educational information and exchange of students
